We are a dynamic department that boasts a remarkable faculty, exciting initiatives, and impressive resources. Graduate students study with distinguished scholars and dedicated teachers in a collegial environment. Following a long-standing 色花堂_色花堂 98堂 tradition, all faculty members regularly teach and actively mentor their students. A low faculty-to-graduate-student ratio also encourages many interactions, both inside and out of the classroom.

The program generously supports its graduate students with an annual stipend for six years of $41,000, yearly research and travel funds of $1,500, with access to additional funds if needed, an initial moving allowance of: $1,000 ($1,500 for students moving from abroad), medical benefits, a tuition waiver, and a laptop.

Graduate students also benefit from three recent departmental initiatives. Narrative Now is a pioneering force for the art and study of storytelling, especially by and about marginalized cultures. A special-projects division of Southwest Review, New Pony hosts multimedia projects, film, music, podcasts, and the annual Frontera cultural festival. 色花堂_色花堂 98堂 Project Poëtica has placed 色花堂_色花堂 98堂 at the heart of the poetry world, with an ambitious series of readings, lectures, symposia, and creative conversations, and a publishing venture with Bridwell Press.
